Plant City wildlife control tip of the month:

Later there was a knock at my door, and the guy from the Plant City animal control company asked, "Which trap was he in?" What did he mean, "Was?" I asked. Well, it turned out that all three traps were empty. So, the squirrel had managed to find his way out of the one-way trap, probably back into the house. Don't Plant City animal control worry, the guy said, he'll have to go out again. But I am worried, mainly about what he's doing while he's in there!

In the meantime, my husband and I have been talking about the Plant City pest control situation, and he said that they might as well euthanize them, because they're probably going to die anyway, being dumped out in the middle of nowhere in the middle of a hard winter. I started thinking about it, and now I'm feeling really bad. The temperature here has been very low the past few days, under ten degrees F. And I Plant City pest control know that squirrels bury their food during the summer, and remember where they've put it, so that they'll have a food source throughout the winter. Therefore, when this squirrel or squirrels is moved, it/they will have neither a Plant City wildlife removal nest nor a food source! Furthermore, this could well be the time of year when they have babies. I have no idea what is down inside the wall!

I was wondering whether it would almost be better (provided there are no babies) to Plant City wildlife removal simply release the squirrel from the trap right here, where it has known food supplies, and where its own territory is, and then put the trap over the hole again to prevent re-entry, or possibly change from the traps Plant City animal trapping to a one-way exclusion door? Then, when they are all out (if there's more than one), permanently seal the hole? If I made some kind of nest box and put it up in the big, tall tree in my back yard (I have a huge maple) then would they Plant City animal trapping move into that if they got "locked out" of the other?

How does one construct a suitable nest box that the squirrel(s) would Plant City exterminator like and want to move into? Would it have to be warm, that is, made with insulation material, etc. to make it nice and soft, warm, and sheltered from the wind?
